Brussels vs. Liège

Brussels
The Belgian waffle, whether from Liege or from Brussels, is known worldwide. The waffle from Liege is thick and contains pearl sugar which delightfully crunches. Enjoy it warm for more flavor. Its cousin, on the other hand, the waffle from Brussels: it's lighter and eaten with powdered sugar or covered with whipped cream and strawberries.

  2. I have not tried the Liege waffle! I have heard it is delicious and a lot of people prefer it over the Brussels waffle. #WordlessWednesday

  3. We enjoyed the Brussels waffle in Bruges -- complete with whipped cream and strawberries. A must when visiting! Yum!
